Granex Website + Brochure

The sales team at Granex Industries was in desperate need of sales materials for their granite countertops and a general overhaul of the company’s look and feel. Since their main customer base—kitchen and bath designers, design contractors and architects—value high-end design, they needed a fresh look that matched their high-end product. Their current identity was lacking the design sense that their customers trust and value. I designed a brochure that has longevity, and a classic, clean look. It is simple in message, but visually tricked out with a lot of attention to detail. I chose a top-selling stone for the front cover, one very familiar to their sales people. The die cut cover mimics a cut, smooth countertop, and is sharply contrasted against the back cover image of rough, unfinished stone with a textured finish. The brochure copy focused less on their inventory and product lines, and more on their process, craftsmanship and technologies. A new website followed suit, bringing a clean, elegant look that communicated the same visual style that consumers wanted for their projects. This project has already met with happy clients and garnered this feedback from the first sales person to use the new brochure: “I was at a potential account meeting with a high-end designer, and for the first time I felt proud to hand them something from Granex.”
